SD Shower At The Park

About a month back, Dana asked me if I could take off this Saturday night from work because he had a suprise for me. When Saturday came, I was very anxious and a bit annoyed because he gave me no clue as to what we were doing. All he said is that "Rocky planned it all out". So, in my eyes, I couldn't complain because I knew I would be spending the day with Dana and Rocky. I absolutely hate when we have to leave Rocky behind.

After a few slip ups from people, I began to become suspicious as to the fact that more than just Dana was involved, but I really had no idea. We drove to Kate Sessions Park in PB, which is an absolutely beautiful park that gives you a great view of the water and you are allowed to bring dogs and alcohol (glass-free of course). As we got out and started to walk down to the trails I started to notice how everyone in a particular crowd looked very familiar.

As I got closer, I hear everyone yell "Suprise!" and realize that it was a bunch of Dana and my friends. They were crowded around, grilling and talking. As it turned out, my friend, Liz coordinated a shower for us, since we didn't have one here, and then Dalina jumped on the bandwagon and put all her efforts in helping as well. It was the most perfect day ever. Even with the hot sun, we were in the perfectly shadowed spot that gave us complete comfort. Some friends that I haven't seen in ages came, as well as familiar faces that I never get to spend a relaxing Saturday with.

Rocky had so much fun, getting attention from everyone. He had a friend (a Boston Terrier named Peanut), who he got to play with for the first half. And in the second half, he became curious to what the other crowds of people were doing in their group. He's quite the chick magnet, so he loved getting attention from all the ladies sitting in the other areas.

Overall, it was a very memorable day, which really helped set the mood of excitement for our big day that is only 3 weeks away!!! It really is coming so quickly!
