This last weekend, we had a fun time spent at the house. Daddy and Enzo were feeling really manly, so they got the chainsaw out and cut a bunch of wood...
Eva dug a big hole for a new tree...
And then Enzo revved up the good ole Dora 4-wheeler and took it for a spin...
On Saturday, we had Heather and Ryan's family here for dinner, followed by a sleep-over with the kids. Dana tested out his fire pit...
And then we pushed the parents out the door, so the real fun could begin. We all piled into the living room to watch Rio 2 and eat lots of popcorn. And when I say lots, I mean 12 bags of full-sized microwave popcorn!
And then at midnight, our carriage turned back into a pumpkin and we all went to bed.
In the morning, we made lots and lots of pancakes. My helpers, Kierce and Enzo, cut strawberries and marshmallows to add to the feast...
Once we were all dressed, we headed to Target where the kids got to pick out their birthday gifts from last year (Yup, like way last year-it took us a while to make this finally happen). Merrick got a fun toy and the girls got these fun fold-up chairs that they have been wanting to get for a while so they had a place to sit and read (if it encourages more reading, well then of course I will get it!)...
And once we were back home, it was fun on the slip n slide...
And then some swing action...
When it was time for the cousins to leave, this is what my kids looked like...
I think we all had a really fun time. It is so nice to have so much time with them now that school and classes aren't getting in our way. Eva and Enzo just adore these guys so much!!
