Me llamo Rocky

Our Mini-Me's

Over the summer, Dana and I have watched our kids mature and bloom into their new older selves.  It has been so fun and at many times funny to watch.  We bond with them in such a new and different way and really enjoy sharing our stories with each other at the end of the day.

Eva has always been a decent helper, but lately, the "Helper" light is has been shining so brightly.  She asks me many times throughout the day what she can help me with, or "What do you want to do with me?".  One thing she really enjoys is to bake with me.  She begs me almost daily to bake something...

She really enjoys when we dress alike (and I do, too!)

She loves her daddy and has learned from me that the way to his heart is through is stomach...

But lastly, and most importantly, she has learned, just like her mommy, how to take on that big sister role.  She can convince Enzo to do anything girlie and let him know that he IS having fun, even if he questions it...

Enzo on the other hand, and despite the above picture, is really turning into a BOYS boy.  His love for trucks and tractors, football, and dirt is in full swing.  In fact, anything Daddy is interested in, Enzo wants to be a part of.  He has been loving the road construction at the end of our street and could watch those tractors work all day long (which is something Dana has always described himself as kid)...

Any opportunity he can get to drive one, he will take it...

But probably one of the most common sites that our house is use to seeing is daddy on his computer.  So, naturally, Enzo has found some much needed work to be done and a computer, too (check out that serious face!!)...

And even if Daddy wears something that looks REALLY goofy, Enzo doesn't mind.  He wants to be just like his daddy...

In fact, after feeling like they couldn't possibly have anything more in common, we found one more thing.  In March, Enzo, too, will be a middle child!

Eva and Enzo are very excited to have a new baby in the house.  They love to talk about it, learn about how much the baby is growing in my belly, and what will happen once baby is here.  Daddy and I are excited to add to our family and watch one more child grow into our family and add more personality to our ever evolving lives.  And, now we are excited to share the news with you!!
