19 Weeks, Almost Half way!

Drive by...
I am almost half way through this pregnancy and haven't taken any time to blog about it.  The truth is, I had just been too sick and too tired, on top of my busy mommy schedule.  But today, I am taking the time!  The sickness has worn off for a few weeks now, although I still get little bouts of nausea here and there.  Nothing really to complain about and In the last week or so I have started to get my energy back and have also been able to introduce a cup of coffee back in, which really helps.
While we were away on our Portland trip I started feeling the baby kick.  It would generalyl kick every morning while I was laying in bed, but now lately I mostly feel it kick at night, after the kids are in bed and I am relaxing on the couch.  Before my mom left, she was able to feel the baby kick a couple times, which was a pretty special moment.  Daddy, on the other hand, has some sort of soothing effect, for every time I feel the baby kicking and moving around, I put Dana's hand on my belly and it stops.  EVERY TIME.  This is good information to know, so when baby is born and won't sleep for me, I can remind Daddy that he is the one with the special soothing touch ;)
With my other pregnancies, I suffered with Siatica almost immediately, so this time I was excited to realize I was getting so close to the half way mark without any such pain, but I obviously jinxed myself, because shortly after that realization I cleaned my house and almost immediately after, I was in too much pain to walk around.  The sciatica had hit me.  Luckily, it hasn't been affecting me quite as much as the past, but its there and I already know it only gets worse.
In less than 2 weeks, we will go in for our big ultrasound and will find out what we are having.  If you want to participate in the guessing game, take the survey below.  Let's have fun and see what everyone thinks!  :)
