Six Months Pregnant and Poppin'

As of about a week ago, I am officially six months pregnant, which also means I am in my 3rd trimester.  Being that this is baby #3, I feel like I could totally use 6 more months to prepare, but that is not our reality. My belly is in full swing and my body is totally feeling it.  The baby moves quite a bit, and the difference I am noticing in this pregnancy versus the past two is that I can feel the baby moving even when I am moving around (usually I would only feel movement when I am sitting on the couch at the end of the day).  He is either a much bigger baby or has alot more energy and quite frankly I don't know which one of those traits to hope for. Yikes!

On most days I am feeling really good and pretty much normal, but there are days when the sciatica is really painful.  I have had a couple mornings where I literally cannot get out of bed.  In one case, Dana helped me as much as he could, but had to go to work.  I was scared about what to do because I couldn't move.  Eva was up to witness all of this and I seriously could not believe how accomodating and helpful she was being.  I was able to use a roller to stretch and work on the lower back to at least be able to take small steps, but Eva (without my asking) would insist to hold my hand and tell me "It's ok, mommy.  You're going to be ok.  Just walk slow.  Be careful.  It's ok, mommy, I got you.  I got you."  And she remained to help me for as long as she could see me struggling and in pain.  Seriously, she is just so helpful, sweet, and mature!

Enzo is excited about the baby.  It is hard for us to really know how much he understands, but he really seems to get it.  He is very much interested in feeling my belly, feeling the baby move, and talk to the baby.  He is extremely patient and will sit with his cute, soft little hands on my belly for as long as I will let him.  He will smile up at me or give a little jump of excitement whenever he feels the baby.  If he doesn't feel the kicks, he gets really close to my belly and says "Come on, baby!"  He gives my belly kisses, talks in the sweetest voice, and will blow rasberries to the baby.

Both Eva and Enzo are going to make incredible older siblings for this little guy!
