Our little Zander is One month old today! In some ways, it feels like we are all still learning how to adjust to having a new baby in the family, but in other ways it's hard to remember what life was like before Zander came into our family.
Here are some pictures and moments from the past few weeks:
Zander had his first outing with the family a couple weekends ago when we went to Seaworld for brunch, a visit to the sharks and a little play time.
He slept through the whole experience, but hey, at least he didn't cry.
Last weekend we took another brunch trip. This time we introduced him to City Farmer's Nursery.
So far, the only place Zander is willing to sleep solo is his swing. The length of time he sleeps is dependant on how tightly he is swaddled going in to it...
Eva continues to love Zander more and more each day. She whispers "I love you, Zander" at least a few times a day and always takes a break from her busy life to check in and make sure he knows she is near...
Enzo continues to love Zander, too. He just has a different way of showing it. He really is dying to play with Zander, always showing him the newest toy he is in to for the day. He asks to hold "Baby Zander" daily, and always analyzes his facial features, comparing them to his own.
Zander has become the newest model in the fashion industry, thanks to his fashion designer mommy and her creatively like-minded friends. Here he models some pieces made especially for him by my friend, Jen. Big Yawns for a hard days work...
Through the month, we have had many amazing visitors. One night, Lorie and Steph brought us dinner in exchange for snuggles from the kiddos...
Zander made his first baby friend, Addison, who was born just 5 weeks before him...
And one night we had a whole crew of families over for a group meeting with Zander (husbands are enjoying the fire pit during picture time)...
Zander has had many more visitors and lots of memories made in this last month...in a nutshell, he is happy, healthy, and loved by so many.
