After Eva started school, Enzo had to wait a couple more weeks before it was his turn. So, we took advantage of his extended summer and squeezed some fun events before his big day. We surprised the kids with a quick stop at Boomers. Daddy took Eva and Enzo on a Go-Kart ride. Enzo usually gets pretty scared and doesn't want to try anything fast moving, so he was very reluctant, but he decided to go against his gut feeling and give it a shot. Of course, he was all smiles when it was over...
To my surprise, he was then ready to conquer all of his fears on rides and went on the Tea Cups, flying swings, and rotating Fire Truck. I've never seen him smile so big when he got off...
During the week, when Eva was in school, we arranged a couple dates with Enzo's favorite friends, since they wouldn't be in his class once school started. He celebrated his "brother" Leo's birthday...
And had Marielle over to meet our new chicks...
And on down time, we played around the house, where Enzo could explore the backyard. This picture cracks me up becaues it really does sum Enzo up in a nutshell. Band-aid on his forehead from slashing his head from a fall, wearing a monster truck shirt like his daddy's, a tool belt to hold the tools he loves to use, and of course, holding a live lizard he caught with his own two hands...
Away from home, Enzo has joined in his sister's interest of playing soccer. He is on his own team with girls and boys the same age. They are the Blue Dragons! His dribbling skills are quite impressive and so far, he seems to really enjoy it!
Just days before Enzo's first day of school, we had a meet and greet with his teachers. He is so happy that he will be a Dragonfly and have the amazing Mrs. Greaves and Mrs. Pedersen.
When his first day of school came, he just couldn't wait to get back into his classroom to play, play, play. They have so many fun and interesting stations for Enzo to use his creative mind and a chance to make so many new friends. As we were walking into the school , Enzo ran into another one of his favorite friend's, Erica, whom he will get a chance to play with during lunch bunch...
As soon as we got to the classroom, he began playing and never looked back for me. I had to say his name about 10 times to get his attention so I could say good-bye, then he was off getting aquainted with his new routine of school. I have a feeling he's going to have an amazing school year.
