Me llamo Rocky

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Brownlie!!

Yesterday, Dana and I attended our final wedding of the season.  Our friends, Courtney and Jeff got hitched at a beautiful ceremony in Mission Bay, San Diego.  Jeff was the DJ at the bar that I use to work at and through the years I have become good friends with his other half, Courtney.  Going to their wedding was like a big reunion for Dana and I for many of the people I worked with in the last few years were all there to cheer on and congratulate the newly married couple.

The ceremony was beautiful and colorful.  One of my favorite parts was that after the couple recited their vows, they released a group of butterflies into the sky.  It was so cool, I wish I could've got a good picture.  Anyway, the party that followed was a ton of fun.  The bride and groom were all over the place dancing and having a good time.  Towards the end, I was finally able to sneak in a picture with the Bride and our friend, Megan.

And, of course, a picture of Dana and myself enjoying ourselves during the festivities.

Not only did we get to celebrate our friends' wedding over the weekend, but we also got to celebrate my Aunt Rhonda's 50th birthday with her last Saturday.  Unfortunetly, she has the pictures on her camera, but we had a great time.  We gave her a tour of our house, ate dinner at Marble Room (where the birthday girl and Dana enjoyed gin martinis with bleau cheese stuffed olives), then ended with some ice cream from Ghiradelli. She's been here for work, but come Tuesday, she will be all ours until Friday to hang out and have fun together.  We can't wait to have her here.

By the way, my dear husband is getting his final wisdom tooth pulled today.  Thats right, it means the poor guy is going to stuck on the couch in agony for the next few days, while I try and nurse him back to health.  We are just hoping the procedure goes much better than it did the last time.  Nobody likes seeing their loved ones in pain :(
