As most of you know, I am a fashion designer, here in San Diego. So, now that I am getting married, everyone asks if I am going to design my wedding dress. The answer to that is "yes". I have not begun yet, but I do have time. Anyway, now that we are planning our wedding, I talk to my mom on the phone all the time (I sometimes call her more than 3 times a day--haha, no joke). So, one time she calls me and tells me that her and my Aunt Mary Kay have come across my grandma's dress. She wanted to know if I would like to use peices of it when I am designing my own wedding dress. I was so honored and excited to see the dress, I wanted to try it on so bad. It has arrived, and now I am sharing the pics of me in the dress. It fit me perfectly. It was an emotional moment for me and I cherish this dress more than anything else. I miss my grandma and think about her everyday. I know she will be with me in spirit, on my wedding day, and having a peice of her in the peices of my dress couldn't be a more meaningful gift. I hope you enjoy the pics!
