First of all, before I begin to tell you about our weekend, I would like to give a shout out to our son, Rocky. Happy Birthday my baby boy!!! You are 4 Years Old Today, you have grown to be such a well behaved young man and an excellent big brother! Mom and Dad love you so much and are so happy to have you in our lives.
The above picture is Rocky with his new birthday toy from Granny, which lasted about a good 10 minutes. I mean, who wouldn't devour a lobster? Rocky has been pampered today with lots of treats from Granny, myself, and Eva. We also made sure to take his favorite walk and then when Daddy comes home from work tonight, he will have a little surprise in hand. Happy Birthday, Rocky!
Ok, so now our weekend. We had a pretty low key weekend, but did get a chance for a couple different visits. My friend, Elizabeth, and her husband, Sam, welcomed their new baby boy, Oliver on Saturday afternoon, so I was able to go to the hospital on Sunday to meet him. Such a cutie! But, Before we took off for the hospital, our neighbor across the street, Vera, surprised us with a cute little crocheted hat that her friend made for Eva. We had to try it on her, so I found the perfect outfit to coordinate, and viola! The cutest girl alive:
And here is a mommy daughter picture
After visiting baby Oliver we had a little time to get home and relax before we went back out to meet Lorie and Steph for dinner at Station Tavern for burgers and beers. The atmosphere was great. The Station is a kid-friendly, dog-friendly burger joint with a great beer selection. It had been a couple months since Eva saw her Aunt Lorie and Aunt Bugg, so they were quite surprised at how much she has grown...and, of course, they couldnt' wait to get cuddle time with her. Overall, we had a nice relaxing family weekend. Until next time....
