What's Been Going On In Eva's World?

The day we've been waiting for has finally arrived?  Well, a couple different things we've all been waiting for has finally arrived.  One, on July 2nd, Eva started crawling.  Eva was across the room from me and saw the toy I had in my hand.  She started to crawl as she had been doing alot, but where where she would usually stop and sit up for a breather, she hesitated and just kept coming at me until she reached the toy.  Yay, Eva!  She didn't even seem too impressed with her own accomplishment, but mommy was!  Here she is in action:

Funny thing is, now that she showed me she can crawl, she wants to walk!  She keeps trying to stand up (and without even holding on to anything) and once she realizes she can't stand yet she thinks "Fine!  I'll just crawl then...boring!", haha.  Thats my girl, determined as ever.  Luckily, she isn't the only one eager to have her walking.  Her cousins are as determined as she is to make it happen.  Here is Kierce, showing her how to take steps.

That other exciting thing we've been waiting for?  Teeth!  Yes, Eva's two lower front teeth have cut through the gums and made an appearance.  July 5th was the first I noticed of her first tooth, and today I noticed the 2nd one.  Yay for teeth, not Yay for teething.  Thank goodness for Aunt Heather and finding a great homeopathic remedy that has been helping. Before then, the family was not sleeping very well.  As soon as I can get a good picture, I'll be sure to share.  In the meantime, here's a cute picture of Eva putting those teeth to some use :)

And, lastly, over the weekend our friend, Elisa gave Eva her first taste of watermelon and she loved it!  In fact, she loved it so much that if you dared to take it away from her she was very vocal about getting back into her mouth.
