A Day At The Park With Eva Veronica

We had a nice and relaxing weekend catching up with house chores and hanging at the house...On Saturday, we walked to our local park, layed a blanket out, and relaxed under a shade tree with the kids.  While we were laying there, Eva kept standing up on her own, and then would fall seconds later.  But she kept doing it over and over and over again, each time gaining more standing time.  Then, she even attempted a step forward, and I kid you not, Dana got a picture of the action!

This baby girl is going to be walking very soon!

Another thing Eva's been doing alot of is climbing.  She wants to climb on anything and everything!  It was a good thing we took her to the park because there was plenty for her to climb there.  Daddy took her over to the little slide and rather than try to slide down, she kept insisting on climbing up instead.  I was very impressed with how well she did.  Daddy only kept his hands near to catch her if she fell, but she made it up all by herself!

Seperate from our weekend, I have a couple other pictures that I thought were too cute to not share.  This one is Eva resting with her favorite pillow.  She loves this thing.  She lays her head on it when she gets tired, she sits on it on my lap while I read to her, she wrestles with it, and tries to throw it to Rocky to play (that doesn't go over very well).  She just loves her Bumble Bee Pillow.  Grandma knew what she was doing when she got it for Eva..
