The day I left for Wisconsin hit the mark of 7 months in this pregnancy. Things have been going very well so far. I went to a doctor's appointment today and found that I've gained 7 more lbs, heard a healthy heartbeat and found that the baby is, in fact, head down, so no need to worry about a breech baby :)
Physically, I have been feeling really good. I'm always exhausted, but thats nothing new. I'm not enjoying walking very far these days, for it just seems like too much work. But, I haven't been suffering with too much back pain or any other big issues, so I really can't complain. As far as the baby himself, he is quite the mover. He likes to kick under my rib cage and move all over the place quite often.
Emotionally, I am in a little bit of a panic, feeling like I don't have enough time to get everything done that I wanted to before the baby arrives. I have 7 weeks left and I know how fast that goes by.
Eva likes to talk about her baby brother alot and just today she felt him kick for the first time. I'd been trying to put her hand on my belly whenever he moved, but she didn't quite understand what I was trying to do. Today, she had her hand on my belly, kind of leaning on it to look on my computer. All of a sudden, the baby rolled and made big movements. Eva moved her hand quickly with her eyes as wide open as possible and looked at me with a big smile. I told her "That was your baby brother moving." She thought it was great.
Hopefully, by the time I post next months pregnancy blog, I will have some nursery pictures to share...just one of the many things I still have on my list.
