The way you treat your dog is reflection of what kind of parents your going to be. Thats what they say, right? Well, if this is true, then I know Dana and I are going to be great parents some day. If I take the time to write a whole blog topic on how much we love Rocky then that should explain enough. :) Today, we took Rocky to the OB Dog Beach. While he wasn't that excited about mingling with other dogs, he loved the freedom of running as far as possible without getting yelled at by mom. It was so cute to watch him run really far and then stop and look back to see if I was ok with his distance...since I didn't yell, he would run forward more and then look back again and he kept doing it until he finally reached the edge of the sand and I had to yell for him. He ran back to me as fast as he possibly could and walked with me right by my side because he likes to make his mommy happy. Oh, how I am so proud of my little boy. And, it doesn't end there. Dana is also so proud of his 5 lb. monster. On the outside it may seem that he is forced by his girlfriend to walk the little guy in public, but for those of you who know Dana well know I don't have to make him do anything when it comes to his son. He walks down the street with his head high, as the proudest owner of our little chihuahua. He even celebrates "Bring your dog to work Day". If you've never heard of it, it's something we celebrate once a week. The pick of Dana and Rocky is by his office, while Dana takes Rocky for a potty break. Ahhh, how cute! :) (You may laugh if you like--I'm not even sure I'm taking myself that seriously right now)
