Over the last weekend of February, one of my bestest friends ever came to visit Dana and I. Natalie, who is a bridesmaid in the wedding, and her husband Wayne came to San Diego to celebrate their last vacation together before they became parents (also called their babymoon). It was an amazing visit in so many ways and I am so glad they chose the city we live in for a little R&R. They spent some time for themselves close to the ocean, and then with us for a couple of nights. We ate good food, went wine tasting (Natalie was a trooper, while she watched us enjoy it all), and did lots of sightseeing (thanks to the best tour guide ever--Dana). Unfortunetly, Natalie was 6 months pregnant and her little baby was resting herself on Natalie's sciatic nerve, so she was in too much pain to walk. We joked about getting a automatic wheel chair, but she managed to do the best she could, which was more than enough to have a good time together. The first pic is at Orfila Vineyard in Escondido, and the second is of me and Natalie in Ocean Beach on the pier--me with my hand and her soon to be baby.
