The week before was no fun with Enzo being sick and this last was no different. Eva caught what Enzo had (and thank god recovered quickly), but Daddy was soon to follow. With Daddy being sick and Eva on the mend, but still with a horrible cough and a runny nose, we spent another week at home trying to get everyone back to good health. Before Dana got sick, though, he enjoyed a super fast and furious day with Ryan (who treated him to go karts). He came back to the house earlier than was scheduled because, get this, he was going too fast on the go karts and it made him sick (they go 45 mph on a racetrack). Haha. Yup, Mr. "I drive big, loud trucks" couldn't handle the speed. But, from what I am told, they had fun, nonetheless.
While at home, we did everything in our power to keep Eva from getting bored and asking to watch a movie or play on the iPad (her new educational tool--as daddy calls it). She headed out back to help daddy in the garden with her very own shovel...
She played with the new train table daddy found on craigslist for a killer deal with tons of trains and tracks. Although she's never seen Thomas The Train, she loves him and trains in general. Daddy, of course, couldn't be more proud of this new found love...
Right after Eva's room had been cleaned and all her books were put away, I walked in to find this...
It's impossible for me to get mad, though, because she's reading books!
Eva was also very excited because her Hello Kitty Chia has just about maxed out in growth and now she has the softest green hair Eva has ever seen...
Although we did spend the majority of the week indoors, we did make it out a few times to attend class and play at the park. Eva was very happy to be out and playing at a playground and I was very happy to absorb some of the warm sun. Check out static hair!
Lets hope this next week is a much healthier week for our family because we have a busy week ahead of us :)
