We've been all over the place doing so many different things. Here are my top 10 pictures, introduced by their captions.
Eva has been playing more and more detailed pretend lately, especially with her doll (dressed in pink, but its a boy named "Baby"). Once she feels she has conquered a motherly task with her doll, she will then practice with Enzo...and does surprisingly well! Here he's getting a ride in her stroller (not to say he's as thrilled as she is)...
Over the weekend, Enzo all of a sudden realized he could see at a much further distance. With that, this little man cannot stop smiling. He will catch a glimpse of one of us from way across the room and break out in the cutest gummy smile. With his more detailed vision, he has also become quite coordinated with his hands and feet. He now swats at hanging toys...
...and he can grab hold of them. But not just one, no my friends, he can grab two at a time and play with them both at the same time!
Since today and next Monday are holidays, we celebrated Valentine's Day with Eva's Monday class this last week. All of her friends exchanged Valentine's, then opened them together. Eva and Stella were quite excited with all their fun new goodies...
We didn't have class on Wednesday, so it was the perfect opportunity to finally meet up with my friend Jen, who recently moved back to SD, and meet her baby girl, Solana. Eva did a great job giving her a tour of the SD Zoo since it was her first time visiting...
It was a little too cold for Mommy to spend much time outside this last weekend, but I managed to make some fun inside. We all enjoyed an indoor picnic for snack time...
Eva played Princess until she slipped in her "glass slippers", but she felt very princess-like up until then...
But, before we were sequestered to the indoors, I vowed to do something fun out of the house so that we wouldn't all go crazy. We made a quick, fun trip to Seaworld to look at all the fishies. Eva even got to touch a few, like this little red starfish daddy found...
To round out the week, we ended at Auntie Heather and Uncle Ryan's place to release the goofiness inside of us...
And celebrate my upcoming birthday with the most delicious cheesecake a birthday girl could ask for...
Thank you for making me feel so special and loading me up with the best sugary treats ever!
