All of our classes have been doing field trips this week and last. Last week, we payed a visit to Seaworld. Eva and I had so much fun with the Elmo ride together...
Today we went to an indoor play cafe. There was so much to do, from the Giraffe ride...
to the skooters down a ramp...
Over the weekend, Mommy and Enzo had a date...
...attending my friend, Elisa's baby shower. Enzo got lots of love from all the ladies and mommy enjoyed catching up with her beautifully expectant friend and everyone who attended...
Daddy took Eva on a Daddy/Daughter date...
...to what other than a car show (followed by his favorite nursery)...
And once they got home, Eva celebrated the sunny warm day with a run through the sprinkler (thank you, warm air, for making an appearance)...
To celebrate some firsts, Eva is now a big girl sleeping in a big girl bed. Surprisingly, the transition has gone as well as any parent could hope for. We didn't make too much of a fuss about it and Eva didn't even act like it was a big deal. It did, however, catch us off guard to find her waiting for us in the middle of her room, or walking out the door when she awoke for the morning. But, no complaining, she's doing great and loves that she can help herself right into her own bed...
Enzo was not short of any firsts in the last week. He had his first bite of food! I debated long and hard about when he would be ready, but I knew he was a hungry boy. I had the time to try it out and gave him just a tiny spoonful of avocado, and to my surprise he acted like he was a pro. He took it in and started eyeing up for the next spoonful...
Since then I have also tried bananas which he is truly gitty about. I mean GITTY. It was like he was a professional banana eater in his past life. So, to say he is ready for food would be an understatement. And with that he is actually giving me a little sleep at night, wooohoo!
