Enzo Turns Six Months Old!

Enzo is officially a 1/2 year old.  Reaching this milestone has come with so many perks.  Enzo's personality has really bloomed, he has grown so big and strong, and he is starting to figure out how to do things on his own.

Enzo's personality blooming has been the one thing that we are really celebrating.  He is so happy to be anywhere near Mommy, Daddy, and Eva.  He will crane his neck at any cost just to keep his eyes glued on us, all while keeping that big, open-mouthed, gummy smile.  He doesn't demand very much attention, he is more of a "go with the flow" kind of guy, preferring his big sister to make the calls.  The love between Eva and Enzo just keeps growing and blossoming.  Eva has been spending alot more time showing Enzo how things work and explaining them to him.  She has found ways that will make him laugh guaranteed and do them to him all day long.  I can't help but stop to listen when I hear Enzo giggling like crazy in the other room because of something Eva is doing to him.  I soak in every second I get.

I mentioned that Enzo has grown bigger and stronger, but that is just an understatement.  What I mean is, he has grown BIGGER AND STRONGER.  I can't wait until his next check-up to find out just how much.  In the last month he jumped from wearing 6 month clothes to 12-18 month clothes.  Yes, you read that right.  With all the growth is the strength.  He isn't quite sitting up yet, but wants to.  He has been using his stomach muscles to try and sit up at every opportunity.  He loves to roll....and roll and roll and roll some more.  His encouragement?  Toys.  If he spots a toy that he wants across the room, he will roll over and over again until he gets to it.  Enzo is so focused.  He is SO good with his hands.  He loves to analyze.  He is a BOY, no doubt.

Lastly, one of the milestones mommy has been most happy about is that Enzo is sleeping most of the night, only getting up once (and that is only because I started waking him up to nurse).  He has developed a pretty regular routine with our very irregular weekly schedule, which is so nice and helpful for me.  That "go with the flow" attitude makes things so much more easy for this mommy to get through the day.

Our family is exploding with love.  We are so happy to celebrate Enzo and his 6 months of being with us :)
