This last week we went to the zoo with Eva's friends (and their mommies, of course). The girls had a ton of fun together...
While we were there, Eva insisted I take a pic of her with the koala statues. Of course I acted quickly because getting her to smile for a pic is never easy. Although, lately, she has been making many more requests for pictures and I am loving it. Anyway, Eva and koalas...
Later in the week, we went to check out the brand new San Diego Central Library that just opened downtown. It is HUGE! The kids section is great, it practically has its own floor. Naturally, Eva took straight to the computers for a little game and Dora The Explorer...
The cool thing was that the computers are touch screen and they have games for Enzo, too! In fact, he was the one to discover it...you know kids these days, they know computers better than any of us...
Over the weekend, Daddy was gone for work, so we were left to entertain ourselves. Being the busy body that I am, I had no problems filling our time with things to do. On Saturday we went to meet Sparky, the Firestation Dog who teaches kids about fire safety. First, though, Eva got a crash course on how to escape the house if there is a fire and how to find the meeting place...
Then, Eva and Enzo learned CPR while I got a brush-up course...
And lastly, but most importantly we got the meet Sparky. Eva dressed the part of firefighter and happily sat next to the big dog on the front bumper of the firetruck...how cool!
On Sunday, we hung with our friends house to celebrate Hannah's birthday. One of the funnest parts of the day was the "butterfly release". Jacob had been raising butterflies since given 11 caterpillars for his birthday, and the kids released them on Sunday...
To end, I wanted to share a couple pictures that my friend shared with me of Eva and her friends. I just think they are adorable...
I'm pretty sure this next picture is when the girls were running outside their perimeter and we told them to come back. Guess which mom has the loudest voice, haha...just kidding.
