Me llamo Rocky

Alligator Dance

Forgive me for my lack of updates, but to be honest, I've been horrible at taking pictures and have had my focus on things like reorganizing my house (which is finally complete--yay!)  Looking back over the last few weeks I tried to pick a few fun pictures of the kids.

Heather's family has been fostering the sweetest dog, Bentley, for a while now, but it was our first time having him at our house.  He passed all of Rocky's tests and was allowed to come hang out.  Enzo?  Well, he loved him.  He kept laughing at him and just couldn't believe he was real.  The ultimate fun was riding on his back without Bentley even flinching...

One day, while Eva was still napping, Enzo and I were playing in his room.  He grabbed his two favorite stuffed animals, threw them up on the chair, then helped himself up to play with them.  He was having so much fun with them for what seemed like 20 or so minutes.  It was adorable to watch...

A couple weekends ago, we went hiking as a family.  This hike was more like rock climbing, which was VERY challenging.  Enzo was on my back, Rocky was on a leash and Eva was doing it all herself.  The hike required alot of teamwork, but yet again, I was SO IMPRESSED with Eva's hiking skills.  She conquered it all by herself and even helped us out in a few situations.  Here are Eva and Daddy resting with the waterfall behind them :)

One of Eva's friends got her a month of dance class for her birthday so that they could take the class together.  It is a class where you cannot watch the kids while they are dancing (not even through a small door window), so the other mom offered to take both girls.  Eva was excited and needless to say, there was no arguing or running away from me when it came time to get dressed and ready to go.  The morning went so smoothly that Eva was ready about an hour before we even had to leave to get to her friend's house.  Here she is in her ballerina outfit, happily waiting to leave :)

Today, we took a quick trip to the science center for some morning play with friends, Jacob and Lucy.  Enzo wanted to get into just about everything, like this steam machine (I keep forgetting what this is really suppose to be)...

And, Jacob and Eva had fun listening to each other's altered voices...

Now, its time to get ready for Christmas. :)
