Rohr Says the Lion

The month of March has been a pretty tough one for our family.  Between Dana and myself, there has been alot of traveling...and not together.  A few weekends ago, I left Dana with the kids for the weekend so I could go to my cousin, Andrea's, bachelorette party.  It was a super fun girls weekend.  Andrea had a great group of girls who came out to celebrate her last days of singledom...

It was so nice to get away from the every day grind of motherhood, but even better that I got to spend that time with some of my cousins...

When I got back, I felt refreshed and happy to be reunited with all of my loves.

Back at home, Enzo has been religiously practicing his "princess shoes walking skills".  He remains to have a huge interest in shoes, but princess shoes is his ULTIMATE favorite.  With the feet sliding in, the big plastic heels, and the clicking sound they make is such a fun, challenging, loud accomplishment.  The other day, he added the crown and hand selected a "Sofia the First" princess book to complete the look, then he walked around with the biggest smile...

And while Enzo is working on that, Eva has been very interested in photography.  Well, taking pictures, really.  But, I am very surprised at how well she has framed her subjects, considering it's her first time using a camera.  She asked Enzo and I to say Cheese while putting away dishes...

Enzo and I are still having fun in his 1-2 year old class.  One of the areas he likes is the costume rack.  He really enjoys all the different hats.  The other day he found the lion costume, which is too small for him, but he wore it about half the class and refused to take it off.  It was hilarious.  He took it very seriously.  While all the moms kept giggling at him, he would look at them, like "What's so funny?  I'm seriously a lion.  I don't find the humor in that."

In the past month, a friend and I have been trade sitting quite a bit, which has been really nice.  When all the kids get together, its actually easier because the kids play SO well together.  The great thing is that the secret with this little group is that you can get them to do just about anything if you hang a snack cup over their head, haha. That would explain how I got them to all sit still for 2.2 seconds to get this pic (Enzo's snack cup is hiding up his nose ;) )...

Over this last weekend, Dana was gone for a last minute, long weekend trip to Michigan.  While he was away I was tempted to be lazy and stay home, but after an entire afternoon of fussiness on day one, I knew I had to get out before I went crazy.  Early Saturday, I got everyone ready and out the door and we headed to Seaworld.  I am so glad we did!  We had alot of fun.  Now that Enzo is a mover, Eva and I gave him a chance to run wherever he wanted while we followed.  When he needed guidance, Eva took care of it...

And, now that Enzo is walking, it also qualifies him to ride some of the rides.  I had already tried one out a month or so ago, which Enzo was too petrified scared to endure, so I knew there was a chance he might not like the other ride, but only way to know is try, right?  This time we went on Abbey's Tea Cups.  Well, he loved it when we were at a stand still...

But as soon as it started moving, they had to stop it because he was not having it AT ALL.

On Sunday morning, Daddy flew back home, which we were all really excited about.  When Enzo woke up from his nap, he cuddled with daddy for about half hour...

And Eva was excited that Gramma and Bopa sent Daddy home with goodies to unwrap.  She couldn't wait to wear her new dress, sweater, and sunglasses.  I didn't even have to ask her to get dressed this morning, she knew exactly what she was wearing...
